Haircare Routine (Beach Edition)

Hey guys, since it's hot outside and everyone is getting in the pool I wanted to share my Haircare Routine with you guys for the beach! As a little background information on my hair, I have
curly hair but I tend to straighten my hair most of the time.

My favorite shampoo and conditioner is from It's A 10. I find that It's A 10 is the best if u don't want your hair 2 feel thick and straw like. The key to keeping ur hair smooth and silky is washing ur hair everyday that your in the ocean water or in the pool. Normally, at home I use the regular It's A 10 but for the beach I prefer the one with Keratin because it's sulfate free so ur hair won't get damaged!!

After I get out of the shower I spray my hair with the Pantene Light Detangler. Unless I brush my hair out every morning I will have #knots. My favorite brush to use with this detangler is the Wet Brush. A couple months ago I found the Wet Brush at a Bed Bath & Beyond but it was in paddle form. I love this brush more then just the regular oval shaped because you can brush out ur hair in bigger sections. Which means more time for #youtube.

After I finish getting all the knots I spray the It's A 10 Miracle Leave - In. Like my shampoo and conditioner I use the spray that has Keratin in it. I love this spray because it adds shine and silkiness to your hair. The main thing that I love about this is that it controls your frizz. Because if I don't put anything in my hair for frizz then I will look like I have a lions mane.

Depending on what I'm doing with my hair then these next 2 steps change. In this case I'm going to show u the products if I'm leaving my hair curly. It lets me leave my hair down for the next couple days after I wash it instead of just putting it in a ponytail or braid.

My must have hair care product is the Not Your Mother's Lock Luster Oil Treatment. It smells like cupcakes which is #amazing. After u put this in it leaves ur hair smooth and silky!! If u see that I don't have ur favorite hair care product leave a comment below and I might just have to go pick it up!!

My Foundation Routine: July 2014

Hey guys, yesterday I was looking at my old Foundation Routine and noticed it had changed dramatically! So I wanted to do a Updated Foundation Routine. I have been wearing this makeup everyday this month. I didn't include brushes in this post but if u want me to do one then just leave a comment below.

The first thing I do is apply primer. My all time favorite primer is the L'oreal Youth Code Texture Perfector Pore Vanisher. Wooh, long name!!!!  This primer is almost an exact dupe for the Benefit POREfessional! I find that this keeps my makeup on longer then the POREfessional. You only need a dime size amount and that's perfect for ur entire face.

Technically I don't wear foundation because my skin just doesn't need it. Instead I have been mixing my Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Cream with my Benefit Watt's Up Highlighter. It gives ur skin a gorgeous fresh faced glow. If I'm not using the Benefit Watt's Up Highlighter then I'll use Girl Meets Pearl from Benefit instead. It just depends!!!

If ur like me and have dark circles under ur eyes then the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind in Brightener is perfect 4 u. As u can see I have used quiet a bit of this and will probably have to get a new one in the next couple months. I also decided to try the color Medium for more spot concealing and so far I love it!! U need such a small amount and it lasts all day long.

The only thing that is the same as my last foundation routine is my powder. It's the MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Medium Plus. It adds just a little more coverage so this combined with the Bourjois CC Cream it gives me the perfect even, natural look!! I hope u guys enjoyed this blog post and I will talk 2 u soon!!!

Best Of: Cheek Products (Summer Edition)

Hey guys, before I start my blog post I need to say sorry for not uploading a post in like 5 days. I have been busy lately but after this weekend everything will be back 2 normal. Over the weekend I came up with a NEW series called Best Of. Every category of makeup I'm going to show u my favorites. To start off my first Best Of I want to show u my favorite cheek products for summer!!
MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Stereo Rose
One of my favorite Mineralize Skinfinsh's from MAC is Stereo Rose. I love glowy skin for summer and this blush is perfect. It makes it look like ur just glowing from within. This blush would work on every skin tone especially when u have a tan from the beach.
Maybelline Master Glaze Blush Sticks in Barely Pink (Left)
and Enchanting Apricot (Right)
I love cream blushes especially when there in a stick from. Enchanting Apricot (LE) is a bright pinky coral color perfect if u like a little pop of color on ur cheeks. Barely Pink (LE) is my favorite everyday color if ur in a rush!!
L'oreal Visible Lift Blush
Another type of cream blush is from L'oreal. It's their new Visible Lift Blushes in the color Soft Peach. This color is super pigmented so a little goes a long way! U have to apply it with a dense brush, I have not tried it with my fingers yet but I'm sure ur fingers would work perfectly!!
Too Faced Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush in
Peach Beach
My current favorite is the Too Faced Perfect Flush Blush in Peach Beach. It's the most gorgeous bronzey color on the cheeks when u mix the three colors together. Not to mention the packaging is to die 4. The perfect blush to put out on ur vanity!! #loveit
Physicians Formula Happy Booster Glow & Mood
Boosting Blush in Natural
My last blush is from Physicians Formula. It's natural on the skin and blends out easily. One of my favorite things about this blush is the heart design, it's almost 3-D!! I hope u guys enjoyed this blog post and I promise I will be back soon!!

Bourjois Haul + Review

Hi guys, I LOVE British Beauty Gurus and I always hear them talk about this brand called Bourjois. Of course me being the crazy makeup addict that I am I had to check this brand out but the only problem I had was that they didn't sell Bourjois in the United States! So I found this website called ASOS which sells Bourjois including tons of other brands. I tried to control myself which I think I did but that means know I want to go back order more items!!

The first thing I got was the 123 Perfect CC Cream which I heard Essiebutton talk about. This CC Cream is #amazing. I love mixing this with the Benefit Girl Meets Pearl which is a cream highlighter. In summer it gives u the most gorgeous glow on ur face and I have been using it everyday that I wear makeup.

One of my favorite things is blush especially cream. I only got 2 but secretly I need all of them! These blushes are so creamy and pigmented. Even the darkest colors can go on sheer. The color 04 Sweet Cherry is going to be perfect for the fall time when u want a deeper color blush. The color 03 Rose Tender I having been using everyday and is extremely natural on the cheeks.

The last thing I got was a Little Round Pot Blush in Rose Frisson. I have not worn it all day yet but the texture is super creamy. The only thing that I don't like about it is that there is #fallout. A lot of fallout not just a tiny bit but it's like u have to blow it away! 100% I would go back and repurchase more Bourjois and I would recommend for any of u to pick u some items!

My MAC Palette: Review + Swatches

Hey guys, first things first… I'm the realest!! Comment down below what song that's from!! I just wanted to say Happy July and I hope u have a great month. As u may know I love MAC eyeshadows so I thought I could share with u My MAC Eyeshadow Palette.

MAC makes different sizes palettes but the one that I have holds 15 eyeshadows. At first I started off with a duo then I found that I love the quality so I bought a x15 palette. You can either buy the eyeshadow in a pan to pop them into ur palette or a pot to carry them separate. I didn't buy all the eyeshadows at once because that would have been #toomuch.

The first three eyeshadows are more on the light side. Phloof! is the perfect inner corner highlight for that perfect bright eyed look and then u can use the color Malt for blending. Of course I have the color Jest I feel like this is such a popular shade perfect as a wash all over ur lid.

In the summertime I love those gold bronze colors and Honey Lust is the perfect color. This eyeshadow is especially pigmented and creamy. All That Glitters is raved about in the beauty community but I find that I don't really use this all the time. I tend to reach for Jest over this color. Wedge is darker then Malt but still one of those perfect crease colors for blending out when ur doing a smokey eye.

These next three eyeshadows I have a love hate relationship with. If u got the new Kelly Osbourne quad from MAC then Quarry would be the perfect color for u. It's a mid tone plumy brown that's matte perfect for making ur look a little more smokey. Cork is a golden brown color with a satin finish. I would recommended this color based on what kind of look u like to create. My favorite in this picture is Sable. It's a pinky bronze color gorgeous on the outer corner worked into ur crease.

MAC describes Satin Taupe as a taupe with silver shimmer and that's exactly what it is. I don't really find myself using this eyeshadow as much as my other ones. If I could I would probably pass on this one. Mulch is another one of those bronzy colors that is perfect for summer. From Antiqued on u will see a problem with reddish brown colors.

The last 3 eyeshadows that I have are probably some of my favorites. I love creating deep reddish brown smokey eye looks especially in the fall time with these colors! I hope u guys enjoyed this blog post and I will talk to u soon.

June Favorites 2014

Hi guys, since the end of the month is here it's time for another favorites blog post. This month I only have 3 beauty favorites but I didn't want to skip this month so I hope u #enjoy.

Starting off with non- beauty related favorites. I'm not much of a coffee drinker but when I was in New York my friend would always get a Starbucks Frappucino so I decided to try it one day and it's so good. My favorite flavor is Vanilla but there is a couple different flavors. Not to mention Alfie aka Pointlessblog posted a picture of this drink on Instagram and when I saw that I have to say I got really excited.

This probably comes as no surprise to most of u but it's The Fault In Our Stars. I went to go see this movie twice this month and right after I saw it I bought the entire album on iTunes. Also I did an entire blog post this month on how to decorate ur desk The Fault In Our Stars edition!

My first beauty favorite is the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in Transparent. I love this powder cause it doesn't leave a film on ur face and it feels like u have nothing on. The only con about this powder is that there are not that many shades if u don't like a transparent powder.

Usually I switch up the mascara that I use just because if I don't then they will dry out but this month I have been just using this one mascara. My favorite thing about mascara is that the formula is not to wet but yet not to dry so it's the perfect balance.

My last favorite for the month of June is the Simple Ultra- Light Gel Moisturizer. This product is not to cooling on the skin but leaves ur skin so smooth. I hope u guys enjoyed this blog post and I will talk to u in July!!

Desk Decor: The Fault In Our Stars

Hey guys, I wanted to try something a lithe different today. I have been obsessed with The Fault In Our Stars movie and thought I could show u how to spice up ur room movie edition!!

1. Print/Cut Out Quotes
The first thing I did was look up some quotes from the movie then copy and paste them on to a word document. You can print out as many or as few as u want but make sure there is space between them so you can cut them out.

2. Tape The Quotes To The Surface
After u finished cutting them out, take some double sided tape and place them on the back of the pictures. As u can see I kind of had to improvise because of course I could not find double sided tape but all I did was connect the sticky sides together so the sticky side is facing all around the outside and the nonsticky part is inside. #hopethatmakessense

3. Hang Your Poster
The first time I went to go see the movie I had this poster and originally I was going to put it in a frame but then I decided to just use small to medium size magnets and hang it that way.

4. Display The Book
The final step is to display ur book on one of those old school pictures holders which I found at Bed Bath & Beyond. It adds just something extra and u can tape ur movie ticket there to. I hope u guys enjoyed this blog post even though it's a little different!!

New Maybelline Collections: Haul + Review

Hey guys, before I start telling u all about the new Maybelline Collections I wanted to say that I went to go see The Fault In Our Stars and it was AMAZING!!! Let's just say that at the end I looked like I had just got beaten up from crying so much. Okay? Okay! Maybelline is saying that their new products aren't coming out until July but a ton of people were saying that their local Bed Bath & Beyond had the new collections so let's just say a 45 min drive later I found all these products.
L - R: 150 Mirrored Mauve, 155 Twinkling Taupe
One of my favorite things at the drugstore are the Baby Lips and when I found out that they were coming out with a new line called Crystal I knew I had to get my hands on it. This collection has 6 colors in it and are shimmer. On the lips it doesn't look like you have chunky shimmer on but it does have a sheen to it. The color in the tube is not what color comes out on ur lips.

Normally I stick to the same couple face products but when I saw this new foundation I had to get it. I have been wearing this foundation every day since I got it and it's AMAZING!! I would say it's light coverage but you can build it up if u need to. It gives your skin an even, polished look while looking like ur not wearing anything. Only thing is that I wish it had a pump on it instead of a wand applicator. On the back of the bottle it says that u use the wand and dispense it on ur fingers then apply it on ur face but I prefer to use the Sigma Flat Kabuki brush.
L - R: 80 Creamy Beige,  95 Chocolate Suede, 90 Vintage Plum
I love the Color Tattoos so you know I had to get the new Leather line. All of the Color Tattoos are matte and are more dark colors. The only color that is lighter is Creamy Beige. I went a little out of my comfort zone and got a medium toned purple so if u went to see a tutorial with it just let me know in a comment below.

The main product I had my eye on was The Nudes Palette. Trust me it looks 10x more gorgeous in person. I love the size of this products because it's only a little wider and taller then an iPhone so it's perfect for traveling.
Without Primer
All of the colors are super pigmented and creamy but I find that the matte colors are a little more sheer then the shimmer colors. Also on the back of the palette it divides the eyeshadows up between Trios, Duos, and Quads to create different looks. I hope u guys enjoyed this blog post and I will talk to u soon.

Too Faced Pardon My French Event | June 2014

Hey guys, yesterday at my local Ulta, Too Faced was having an event called Pardon  My French where they were doing your makeup with their new palettes. I had never been to an event like this before so I was super excited to go and you know I had to pick up some products.

The first product I have been eyeing forever. It's the Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush in Peach Beach. Of course I love the heart shaped packaging of the product and there are 3 strips of colors that you can mix together to create a unique color. One of the things the Too Faced makeup artist said was that the color is really different on every skin tone.

I love neutral eyeshadows and when I say the Natural Eyes Palette, it melted my heart. They did update the packaging which I do like 100% more and there are 3 new shades which are perfect. One of my favorite things about this palette is that it includes matte and shimmer colors which are both super creamy.

The last thing I got from the event was the Bulletproof Brows set. I am sharing this with my mom  so thank you mom. The texture of this is very interesting, it's not a cream or powder. It reminds me of the Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade but this includes a double- ended brush. I took some pictures at the event so I wanted to share them to u guys.
